{"id":57676,"date":"2026-08-05T11:52:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T06:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taggbox.com\/blog\/?p=57676"},"modified":"2026-08-05T11:52:03","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T06:22:03","slug":"bulk-ugc-rights-request","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/taggbox.com\/blog\/bulk-ugc-rights-request\/","title":{"rendered":"Bulk UGC Rights Requests: Ask One Creator for Multiple Posts at Once","gt_translate_keys":[{"key":"rendered","format":"text"}]},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taggbox now lets you request usage rights for several posts from the same creator in a single request, instead of repeating the process post by post.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you run <a href=\"https:\/\/taggbox.com\/blog\/hashtag-campaign\/\">hashtag campaigns<\/a>, you know the situation. One creator posts eleven photos over a festival weekend, and every one of them would work in a paid social ad. Until now, clearing those photos meant opening eleven separate rights requests, writing eleven nearly identical messages, and tracking eleven approvals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now it is one request for all eleven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-new\">What is new<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rights requests used to work one post at a time. The Content Gallery with <a href=\"https:\/\/taggbox.com\/moderation\/\">content moderation<\/a> now supports multi-select, so you can batch them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Content Gallery post grid, tick the checkbox on two or more eligible posts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A dark action toolbar appears with Public, Private, Delete, and <strong>Get Rights<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Get Rights<\/strong>. The request wizard opens with all the selected posts already loaded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Single-post requests still work exactly as before. Every eligible post card keeps the small &#8220;person with checkmark&#8221; icon in its icon row, and clicking it opens the same wizard for that one post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-raise-a-bulk-rights-request\">How to raise a bulk rights request<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The wizard has five screens. Most of your work happens on the second one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-1-select-the-request-mode\">Step 1: Select the request mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bulk requests use <strong>DM Requests<\/strong>, described in-product as sending the request directly to the creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One thing to watch: the option can look pre-selected when it is not. You have to click it. If you click Next without clicking the option first, you will see the error &#8220;Please select the mode for Right Request.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-2-build-the-message\">Step 2: Build the message<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here you set up what the creator actually receives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose a message template (start with Default Template 1, or create your own).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit the Custom Message text. This field is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload your brand logo (optional, but it makes the request look legitimate to the creator).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach your Terms and Conditions. A default document is already attached, and a &#8220;Use our predefined content&#8221; link is available if you do not want to write your own.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tick the &#8220;Accept our Terms and Conditions&#8221; checkbox. The wizard will not let you continue without it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3-connect-the-sending-account\">Step 3: Connect the sending account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click <strong>Add Account<\/strong> and authorize the account through OAuth. This is the account the request will be sent from, and it is required. Skipping it returns &#8220;Please connect account.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-4-preview-the-request\">Step 4: Preview the request<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The final message appears as read-only text under the heading &#8220;Your UGC Request is Ready,&#8221; along with the steps to follow next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-5-raise-the-request\">Step 5: Raise the request<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clicking <strong>Raise Request<\/strong> does three things at once:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Marks every selected post in your gallery with a <strong>Pending<\/strong> status badge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generates a unique tracking link that stays valid for 30 days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opens the creator&#8217;s original post in a new browser tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clicking the Pending badge later reopens a summary screen with the post and a 30-day countdown ring, so you can always see how much time is left on a request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"which-posts-are-eligible\">Which posts are eligible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three rules decide whether a post can be included. The first one is the one most people run into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rule-1-all-posts-must-belong-to-the-same-creator\">Rule 1: All posts must belong to the same creator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bulk requests work only when every selected post comes from the same social profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you select posts from two different creators, Taggbox blocks the action completely with a popup: &#8220;To send UGC Rights request in bulk, make sure you choose posts from a single user.&#8221; The popup shows a green check for two posts from one user and a red X for two posts from two users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The source feed does not matter. You can mix posts from a hashtag feed and a mentions feed in the same request, as long as the same person posted them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"rule-2-every-post-needs-an-image-or-video\">Rule 2: Every post needs an image or video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Text-only posts are not eligible and do not show the Get Rights icon at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you include a text-only post in a multi-select, the bulk Get Rights button disappears from the toolbar without any error message. Check the current behavior in-product before confirming TikTok bulk support for a customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-taggbox-handles-and-what-you-do-yourself\">What Taggbox handles, and what you do yourself<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This part matters for setting expectations, so we will be direct about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taggbox handle:<\/strong> The request itself, your branded message, the attached Terms and Conditions, the approval page the creator sees, the trackable link with its 30-day validity, the <strong>pending status<\/strong> on your posts, and the record of the creator&#8217;s decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>You handle one step:<\/strong> After you click Raise Request, the creator&#8217;s original post opens in a new tab. You paste the generated link there as a public comment or send it to the creator directly. The creator clicks the link, reads the terms, and approves or denies. Your gallery status updates from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, this process is a semi-automated workflow. <a href=\"https:\/\/taggbox.com\/\">Taggbox<\/a> does not send the message through a network&#8217;s messaging API for you. Everything around the request is built and tracked automatically, and the delivery is a copy and paste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-this-helps-most\">Who this helps most<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hashtag campaign teams.<\/strong> A single enthusiastic participant can produce a dozen usable assets in one weekend. Batch them into one request instead of a dozen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Brands with steady organic mentions.<\/strong> When the same creators tag you repeatedly, one request per creator is far less work than one request per post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Paid social teams.<\/strong> Documented, timestamped permission with terms attached is what makes UGC safe to run behind ad spend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"if-bulk-requests-are-not-working\">If bulk requests are not working<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nearly every report of &#8220;bulk rights requests are broken&#8221; comes down to one of two causes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The selected posts belong to more than one creator.<\/strong> You will see the blocking popup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>One selected post is text-only or was manually uploaded.<\/strong> The bulk Get Rights button silently disappears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check both before escalating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"bg-gray-3 text-center rounded-3 p-4\">\n    <h3 class=\"fs-26px fw-bold text-center mt-2 mb-2\" id=\"get-started\">\n        Get started\n    <\/h3>\n    <p class=\"mb-4\">Open Content Gallery, filter to a hashtag or mentions feed, and select two posts from the same creator.
