I loved the app, and was actively using it. Spent hundreds of dollars as an early supporter and they decided to downgrade unilaterally the plan we have with scammy excuses. Elfsight sells a widget for displaying Trustpilot reviews. However this widget is not permitted by Trustpilot and they will threaten to disable your account if you do not remove the widget. Had I paid yearly, this would have resulted in a loss of income.

They seem to have hit some large scale technical issues which have completely broken the service for us. They acknowledge the problem, but it's been down for days. We initially got a response and engagement from their support, but now we are not able to raise any help when following up. In fact, it looks like our original request for help was deleted. We are unable to raise help via phone. And when trying to post to their community forum, we are met with the similar "broken page" that we are getting from their core service. Very disappointed.

Elfisght’s Free Plan is priced at 0 dollars and is considered okay for testing purposes. It offers unlimited websites; about 200 views are accessed with just one widget. The only additional features it offers are bug fixes and Branding.

Basic

$15/month

Elfsight's Basic plan is acceptable for low-traffic websites. For just $15 monthly, it provides 85 apps, unlimited websites, and about 5000 people to view your content and three other widgets. It also offers basic features like customization, free installation services, support, and a 100% ad-free experience.

Pro

$30/month

Elfsight's Pro plan, priced at $30 per month, seems ideal for growing businesses. It offers a comprehensive suite of features, including unlimited websites, 50,000 views, nine widgets, three projects, one collaborator, advanced customization options, free installation service, priority support, and a 100% ad-free experience. This makes it an attractive option for businesses looking to expand their online presence without breaking the bank. It only offers two more features for double the price compared to the Basic Plan.

This option offers just more options along with live chat and isn’t much different from the Pro plan.

Though Elfsight offers some good features when it comes to designing, like providing premade layouts for newsfeeds and popups
You can also integrate Google Maps to showcase your location, provide directions or Timers for limited-time offers.
Of course, you can create unique headers for your widgets to match your website’s branding.
With the Review Widget, Elfsight also offers a Review button to customize its appearance.
As basic design goes, you can choose from various layouts to position your widgets in the best possible location on your website.

However, it needs to catch up when it comes to advanced personalization options, such as a CTA button that enables users to take action or a Custom CSS button for advanced personalization.

Analytics and Moderations

We are sorry to break this to you, but Elfsight can’t cover everything with just Design as their model isn’t really up to date with the times.
There is no way on Elfsight to track the performance of your data, which means the lack of Analytics doesn’t help in understanding users’ mindsets.
In a world dominated by AI, Moderation, Suggestion, and Sentiment Analysis, all these things can be done automatically, and one can exclude the hassle of doing everything manually. Sadly, Elfsight doesn’t offer this either.
One feature of its Review Management is that you can organize and display reviews according to your preferences, highlighting positive reviews and hiding negative ones.
Another is that you can translate your widget’s text into any language to reach a global audience.
