How to Delete a Review from Your Google Business Profile?

Here are the steps you can use to delete the Google reviews you have posted about a brand from your Google Business profile account.

  1. Open and Sign in to Google Maps.
  2. Tap on the “Contribute” button
  3. Select the “View your profile” option from the ones available. 
  4. Scroll down and tap on the “See all reviews” option
  5. Find the review that you want to delete or edit and next to that review click on “More” (three dots).
  6. Tap on “Delete” reviews as per your choice.  
  7. And when you are done, the review you posted will not be visible anymore.

How to Delete or Edit Reviews on Google?

Google does not allow a brand to delete a review posted by a user to maintain fairness and trust. However, if you find a review to be inappropriate, fraudulent, or malicious, you can report it. Google will take a few days to review it and will decide if it should be deleted.

  1. Open Google Maps and open your business profile.
  2. Navigate to the review section.
  3. Look for the review you want to report
  4. Click More (3 dots) and then choose “Flag as inappropriate”
